Browns Point is one of Tacoma's best-kept secrets: a small peninsula community tucked into Northeast Tacoma where Puget Sound wraps around on nearly every side. The neighborhood has the feel of a close-knit waterfront town with views of the Sound, the Tacoma skyline, and on a clear day, Mount Rainier. The historic Browns Point Lighthouse anchors the point and has been a Pacific Northwest landmark since 1887. It is quiet, clean, and walkable in the way that only a true peninsula neighborhood can be. Downtown Tacoma is about 15 minutes away, and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is roughly 30 minutes south. Uber and Lyft serve the area well, so you can leave the car and explore without a second thought.
